Video
Video is fast-changing the face of the internet, and how people experience it. Like most new technologies, everyone wants a piece of the action, and video is no exception, with QuickTime, Windows Media, RealPlayer®, YouTube, and Adobe® Flash® all vying for a top spot.

For a time, connection speed was the biggest problem when delivering video across the web, but with the proliferation of broadband internet service, video is nearly everywhere.

Not far behind, compatibility has also been a big problem. Over the years, Maxcreative has kept track of the various competitors and the latest technologies, and we believe Adobe® Flash® has emerged as the best, most compatible method for delivering video on the web.

YouTube has additional advantages that make it a good alternative, depending on your specific needs.

Maxcreative has worked with all these technologies, and is ready to help you with your video project.

Video Examples
:: Americana Music Times •> PROJECT: Website/Logo Design | HTML/Flash®/Video/eCommerce
Keith Howerton started with a monthly newspaper for Americana (Texas) Music fans. Realizing the power of the web, he changed his focus from the paper, to a web and email subscription fan base. This great site offers both Flash® and Windows Media video clips. There's an archive, and many of the articles contain video clips as well.
:: Charlie Lucas Band •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video/eCommerce
The Charlie Lucas Band is yet another great Texas Music group that we had the good fortune to work with. Not just because they play a wide variety of awesome Americana music, but also because it was a really fun site to build - check it out and you'll know what we mean. The site contains a Flash® video from Strange Light Productions, and of course, there's more to come.
:: Paul Zunno •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video
Paul Zunno is an accomplished blues guitarist and critically acclaimed songwriter hailing from New York City. On his site we started out using Flash® videos, 3 videos, 1 player, but recently Paul decided he only wanted to show 1 video at a time. We switched him over to YouTube, and now he can upload a new video whenever he wants, and we just update the link.
:: GlamBilly (Hans Frank) •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video
Hans Frank was born and raised in rural Appalachia, in the tri-state region of southeastern Ohio, western West Virginia, and eastern Kentucky. Always a prolific songwriter, the combination of rough and refined contributes to the dissonance in Hans’ music. Glambilly is more than just a name, it's a way of life, and the website shouts this. Steve regularly shoots Hans' videos, so check'em out on his site and on MySpace.
:: Cody Hughes Davidson Band •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video
This young musician from West Texas began making music in high school. Soon after he started writing his own songs, put out his first (acoustic) CD, and put together a band. This is another one of our faves, so we were only too happy to put up some Flash® videos, including a couple from Strange Light Productions.
:: DVD Wedding Invitations •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video
Full-motion video was the primary requirement here, since the product is a wedding invitation in DVD form. This one's been around for a long time, so we've gone through a lot of different versions and technologies. We're currently using Flash® to deliver the videos, on both the front page and the Products page.
:: DVD Invitations •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video
DVD Invitations is a companion site to DVD Wedding Invitations that offers invitations for all occasions. The site also needed full-motion video, but with a slightly different delivery system. It still uses Flash®, but we integrated the player into the design, and created a custom start screen, that also comes up whenever you press the stop button.
:: MAC Fitness •> PROJECT: Website/Logo Design | HTML/Flash®/Video/eCommerce
Bridgette wanted to update her website to coincide with the release of her new books, Imagine Living Healthier and Destined To Live Healthier She also put together some YouTube videos to promote her books, and tips for living healthier, so we set up a Media Room, with links to all her videos in one convenient location.
:: La Familia Inc •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Flash®/Video
La Familia's mission is to be the Children's Safety Net. As such, their website is a resource for educating and training their clients through the use of training videos and interactive training modules. The videos are in QuickTime Movie format, which suited their client's viewing needs, and allowed the project to come in on budget, since the videos didn't have to be converted from their original production format.
:: AIMS@UNM (High School) •> PROJECT: Website Design | HTML/Video
The Albuquerque Institute for Mathematics and Science is a public charter school under the aegis of the University of New Mexico. They needed a website to announce its presence to the residents of New Mexico. The front page has a sleek Flash® video from the Mayor of Albuquerque, which promotes the benefits of the school.
